Follow Me, Making a song!

Just thought I would start blogging about a song I'm writing. Just took about an hour to come up with some stuff and write the blog. Who, knows, it may help someone! ~Rob

Hi junior, Can't really listen to your mp3's, I'm at work at the moment, will give them a listen tonight, interesting though to see how others go about their songwriting. Is this typically how you go about it and do you have a theme or even an idea of lyrics before you start or does this come later? I used to write all my music first, get it arranged and mixed how I like it before I even thought about what the song is about, only then did I think about lyrics. I did it this way because a songwriter I admired did it this way too. Only recently have I realised that this won't make me the songwriter he is, so I've decided to try to find my own way of doing things.

Thats how I write the songs.. just playing around.. I explain things a little bit on the blog.. didnt update it today... was working on something else.. But you'll see the finished product will almost sound nothing like what I started. I'm gonna document the whole thing. Just thought it might help someone. You can comment on the blog as well. You HAVE to remember that lyrics are going to go into the song, and work around that, because lyrics and the singer are number 1. ~Rob.
