G4 Powerbook 1.25ghz-still unsupported?

I am using, or shall i say, trying to use a G4 Powerbook 1.25 ghz laptop with an Mbox and Reason. I got this damn thing because my 550mhz was dragging and i use the laptop to perform live. Only the new laptop does not work at all with the Mbox. Reason just quits after 30 secods. It runs fine using default sytem audio, but with digidesign core audio, it just craps out. What is the deal? I just upgraded to OS10.3.3 because i thought the kernel update would help me. but alas... G4 1.25 GHz 2Gb Ram OS10.3.3 (or 10.3.2 but that didn't work either) Mbox Reason no luck Help. please. thanks, -j

my 12" had weird issues like that when I first loaded it up with PTLE and others. I just re-installed the OS and started over from scratch......... no problems since.

I have the newer 15" Powerbook 1.25ghz/ 1 GB RAM and it handles 002R/PT extremely well on Panther.

have you been running panther the whole time? I got an ibook with panther preinstalled and that happens to me. Not as much now that I'm using 6.2.3 on 10.3.2. But it still does every so often. I have a feeling it's a problem with Reason, not PT. They never came out with a panther update for Reason. a friend of mine with a 1 GHz PB has no problem running Reason with CoreAudio drivers on 10.2.8. Maybe it's something weird with the Core Audio DRivers...maybe it's something wierd with Reason.
