PT7 Interface missing

G5 2.0/8Gbs HD Accel 3 - 3x192 2x882 PT 6.9 all working correctly - then in rash moment I upgrade to PT7, having trashed 6.9 prefs etc. Now PT 7 cannot see the 3rd 192 Interface. (all firmware at vs3.0) SO whats different about this interface - well, because 192/1 is taken out on location from time to time I took the analog in board out of 192/3 and put it in the expansion slot of 192/1 to get 16 inputs on the one interface. This has been working fine in all previous PT versions. SO DIGI - Having checked everything else out, could this be a reason my 3rd 192 has gone missing and if so is this now a "feature" of PT 7 or can you issue a fix. In the meantime I have gone back to PT6 and lost the best part of 2 days. To whom do I send the invoice?

Others in DUC have also reported under PT7 ALL three cards must be present for the 192 to be recognised. I have not verified this myself.

Thanks for that bad news for me if true -Why would digi do that? - trying to get us to buy more cards? - the accountants are taking over I guess.

This was an unintentional breakage and is fixed in Pro Tools 7.1.

Thanks Digi for trying a fix but having just found the time to install 7.1 over 6.9.2 I am still missing my third 192 - the one that has no analog in board. Can this be fixed anytime soon? - I don't have the time to go back to 6.9.2. Help! Thanks OS 10.4.5/ G5 2.0 8gbs Ram
