New Midi Tools and Reabanks

Hi Paul, sorry this is seriously Off Topic.... I see you're using an 01X and i88X combination - can you use them in 64-Bit RAM addressable Ubuntu??? If so how please? Sorry for the OT! Deric :)

Hi Deric, Off topic no problem,particularly coming from you with all the work you did for 01X users and REAPER.Much appreciated. It's a little confusing in my signature;I don't use mLAN with Ubuntu or other linux distros,only with Windows XP or Vista.It's not for lack of trying to find a solution;I spent quite a bit of time a year and a half ago trying to compile or at least understand this . Needless to say I did not get very far.I might have a shot at it again sometime as I very slowly make progress with linux and some vague coding notions. I would love to get my whole mLAN system running in linux. I do use REAPER with Ubuntu on an old laptop with the builtin soundcard or Echo i/o or a cheap Creative USB interface that has digital in and out. Sorry,not much help for you now. Paul

Thank you very much Paul for all this material. I am quite new to Reaper. I am having problems using the GM Bank with the ReaSynth VSTi. I can hear something, but I can not change the instrument... Searching over the forums I found your contribution. I downloaded your VSTi's and put them into my FX folder. I can open them in Reaper, but I can not hear anything. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks again!
