Is there any way that thepanning cut at center detent can be disabled Digi? And is this cut linear, meaning it builds to a peak reduction of db (@2.5 db) at center? Ive often found it hard to get things panned and placed into the mix as Im used to working. In fact I prefer the pan on my old yamaha 4 track to the PTLE DAW, Any working solution? And Can PTLE users please get the high quality dither pugin POW-r?

There are many mixing products that use -3 as their center level. and some digital consoles even use -4 or -4.5. Brent

on a similar note, what does lets say a Neve console use as its panning law? I dont know what a good neve is, but I imagin it woul d be nice if your could replicate that "personality" when mixing.
Here's my question. When I bounce an entire session to disc, because of the reduction...will all of my center panned tracks come out quieter while my panned R, L tracks will maintain their volume? This will make for a poor mix...I haven't noticed this happening (too busy learning my monitors vs other speakers), but now I am concerned.
