I have just set up my home studio with 002R. Would anybody know of any good books on Protools?

RE: Protools books

The guide on the cd has EVERYTHING in it but you have to be pretty farmiliar with PT for all of that to sink in. Franz's book is an excellent start and then go to the User guide on the cd for the bulk of what Franz's book doesn't cover, which isn't too much. Plus Franz's book is for 6. I learned alot from it.

Well the pdf book that comes with PT is very good I think. If you want a real paper one it can be ordered from the website (looks like they are back in stock). Also Pro Tools 6 for Macintosh and Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) by Steven Roback is a good read. If your in to Post Pro Tools for Video, Film and Multimedia by Ashley Shepherd is a really good.
