poly's squeek ;-(

hi all, noticed durning last week that the front suspension was squeeking under load on my 240 saloon. traced this down to the newly fitted poly brushes on the front wishbones. Sprayed them liberally with WD40 and squeeks went away for a while but now their back :hissyfit: the supplied grease was used when installing the bushings which i would have thought should have lasted a long time longer than this. Anyone got any idea's on a permanent fix ?. TIA brendan

hi alec, oh is that rough or smooth polyfiller i need ;-) . I'll try and source some of that copperslip you mention. Also done some research on the web and seems quiet "normal" due to the bushings being allowed to move within the tube as distinct to the moulded in type that doesn't slip. read about a possible cure through a product called Pyroil ( while lithium grease ) that seems to have been used with some degree of success. 15 days and counting down !!. :Banane45: :Banane45: :Banane45: regards brendan
