The Assassin

This is a little short work I wrote a few days ago with the EWQLSO Gold XP. Mainly I would like to know what it specifically sounds like to you, and comments/criticisms are welcome.

The orchestral sounds from that software are superb and it's a interesting little piece.When you encode/render choose 192k as 128k tends to squash the highs. I visited the software maker's site and there's very impressive stuff on there done with that aoftware.

Very interesting piece! I especially like the final chord - like your transitioning from minor to major, but not.... keeps the listener hanging.

By the way, the first thing I thought of when I listened to it was a game I use to play on PC, Ghost Recon. The soundtrack to that was composed by Bill Brown. Here's the opening theme to Ghost Recon:

Wow... that sounds really powerful. Would love to hear a longer track around the same motif!

From the beginning until :09 the melody is the same as the Disney Haunted Mansion theme. Shawn

Thanks for your response. I regret not saying in my original post that what you've done sounds fantastic. It's amazing that something like that can be created using Reaper and plug ins. I can only hope that someday I might be able to create something that sounds half as good. Shawn
