Wave dongle?

I just purchased the Waves Native Power Pack. I opened the box and there is an ADB port dongle that needs to be plugged in for the Power Pack to be authorized. I have a G4 350. I do not have an ADB port. Has any one else had this problem? What's the solution? Is there one? Thanks.

My graphics friends have all had to call and send their After Effects dongles back - don't know what Waves is up to...anyone...?

you need a griffin imate. it converts usb to adb. since you purchased your plug-ins before march 31st i think waves will send you one free. all you need to do is fax your receipt. check out their website or email their tech support.

Also note that I've had intermittent problems using the iMate on the USB port on the G4 keyboard - sometimes it works just fine, and sometimes it doesn't and had to trash the digi prefs. I recently switched the iMate to the Mac's own USB port (at Waves suggestion) and haven't had a problem since. Make sure you get the 1.8 drivers for iMate (downloadable from waves.com). ------------------ LW

I have problems a lot with my Logic Audio Dongle. Heard it's the still faulty USB-ports of the G4. Putting the dongle in the Mac itself didn't help...Further: look for updates on the driver at Greets! Dan.

Slinky- If I purchased the waves bundle after March 31st, it would come with RTAS 2.9 and a correct wavekey?
