1. Sure would be nice if when you grabbed the velocity handle of a note it showed the value, like in a balloon or something. 2. It would also be nice if the note didn't sound until you let the handle go rather than repeatedly sounding on every move.

+1 for 1. For 2.: It would be good to have a key modifier, i.e. if you press alt, you hear it, if you don't, you don't. Mostly it bugs, but sometimes it's handy to hear it. -Data

+1 ...or the status display on the bottom left could be used, though I'd like to have this display on a more prominent place. Another idea would be an event display showing all related info for selected events updated in realtime. In such a single line event view it should also be possible to edit values, so the event/note properties window wouldn't have to be opened that much. A quick and easy way to toggle note prelisten is also a nice idea.
