Reaper Engine Algorithm

Advertising

MessageAuthor

Hi I installed Reaper yesterday to try it out, I tried to mix a song i made (without vocals just the channels of the music) I think it handled the wave files quite nicely, but then again it might be just my ear. I was wondering if anyone has statistical data on the sound engine's algorithm compared to that of major releases like cubase sx and pro tools and Cakewalk Sonar. Thnx

RE: Reaper Engine Algorithm

So one can safely say that for recording and mixing purposes (again , im not talking about midi music making) but strictly wave recording and handling Reaper is just as good as the other ?

Yup. It's all about the functionality and workflow.
