can any one help me as i am just starting on reaper and would like to know how reaper deals with changing the key of an audio sample ie wav file, do i have to change it to midi to use the midi keyboard mapper to change the key or can i directly import a wav file then change the key using something similar to the midi mapper any help would be a massive help

yeah thanks i can see how both ways would work, just would like something a bit more visual like when you have a midi sequencer, i like the way you can plot the notes at the key you want, i know fruit loops does it that way and ableton i can change it into a midi instrument and then plot it using the midi sequencer can i do that with reaper?

You could use ReaTune in manual mode. You draw the notes you want, and ReaTune changes the pitch accordingly. From
