Fair enough you may have problems with the athlon system, but you will probly have problems getting a P3 or p4 system up too. If the problem you are having isnt a result of the athlon motherboard you are using more then likely if you switch out your mobo and processor you will have the exact same problem on a p3 or p4 system. There does seem to be problems with a few athlon boards not cooperating, and with some athlon overheating problems, but at least try out your system to find out if the problem you are having has already been solved. Then i should be an easy fix. i have not had any problems with my athlon system since i got it running, and i was one of the first to go out and buy my current setup. Once I made that single change to my bios which i figured out without any help i have not had a single problem whatsoever. I think that by telling somebody that if they go with a pentium setup their problems will go away is kinda far fetched. i will tell you this, you get your athlon system going, it will kick any other pentium based system rear on this board =), and it will be totally worth it.
