Hi Adam Blackman motors used to own my site before i purchased it. They still trade from the rear of my site selling used and new Vw and Audi spares. We also cater for all other makes and models including VW and Audi with manufacturers approved diagnostic equipment for 96% of all vehicles. We carry most special tools for Volvo,Vw,Audi,Peugeot,Ford,Mercedes,Porsche,Bmw,Tv r,lotus etc etc. We also custom engineer components for all vehicles with our in house machine shop. Hi Liam Volvo select warranty are paying for the subsequent removal off the front struts as i have been given authority to replace the top mount bearings. These were noted as worn on removal of the struts the first time. Hope this clears things up Thanks Stuart

Stuart, Dependent on miles done the top mounts are a prime candidate for replacement. Mine were changed with the struts at 55K. I was pre-warned that they might have needed replacement and shown that they were defective and contributing to the twitchiness I had experienced in handling. It was relatively small money to replace the defective parts whilst the suspension was stripped and I hope for the sake of your customer that Volvo Select are not one of those warranty companies that cover parts only because the labour may outstrip the parts costs by a margin. I know what those parts cost. Anyway you appear to have a happy customer albeit with the backing of a warranty company. I do not have the luxury of paid for multiple visits (no warranty), and I doubt if many others here do so I would not be much pleased with anything other than a one stop solution.
