I'm pretty sure that's true for PTLE itself, but I suspect there might be trouble with some of the 3rd-party plugins.

Yup- I have PT installed on my PC lappy and the video workstation G$. Just for kicks, really. The 3rd party plugs, though, generally require either challenge and response authentication (which wont work well on 2 computers) of the iLok. I was reading about the iLok and it, apparently, lets you move your plugs from computer to computer with the key... but only for Mac at the moment. Gotta love software piracy- makes it so that people who pay for the software can't use it. Take care, Chris

Thanks for the wake up call... According to the information about iLok that I read quite recently, the ability to move your plugins from computer to computer, which is a web-based service that keeps track of your iLok and which plugs YOU have purchased, is only availible to Macs at the moment. Read clearly.

Really dumb 002 questions 

There's absolutely no problem with installing the same PTLE and the 002 on a desktop and laptop at the same time right? and then just plugging in the worlds largest dongle into whichever you'd want to use at that particular time. Help me I'm brain farting over here.
