n00b questions (yes, I DID search hehe)

Hey everyone, I'm new here, so please don't hate or be condescending...Also, easy with the lingo, I'll need time to get used to it Ok, so I've got me an Mbox, and I installed ProTools LE, and got it working. Well, I had a couple of questions about recording. 1. When I record any sample, once the recording has stopped, the track only recorded on the R side. The L side is empty (for the audio samples, the one from the L has dead air). How do I correct this? Why does it still play stereo? 2. When about to record, I wanted to put the click so that I could follow the beat of what I was doing, but the click won't play....I tried all the channels available, none of them play... I'm @ work right now, so I can't post any screenshots, but if need be, I can do it when I get home... Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the DUC. You aren't giving very many details about what it is that you are recording, and how you are doing it, but it sounds like you are recording a mono source to a stereo track. Try recording to a mono track and using the pan to place it where you want it in the stereo field. You might want to .
