Recently my computer crashed, and now i got it back, but everything was uninstalled, and all the files had dissapeared. But if I search for them in My Computer they will re-appear. Anyway, Paint won't import or export .JPEG's anymore. Adobe premiere won't accept JPEG's anymore either, and my JPEG output on my image photoshop are alot more shaky now. I can still open JPEG's, but many programs aren't recognizing it. Anyone know ?

open explorer go to extras/ folder options/ file types (in winxp... don't know if it's there on other OS too) select the jpeg file extension and klick advanced or click change /this will show you a number of programs that recognise jpegs... if there's anything unusal try to fix it... maybe there's a wrong action set... of course that's jsut a vague idea... regards steVe PS: please excuse any wrong english descriptions... i got the german winxp version on my comp. :-P
My problem isn't viewing the images, I need them to be accepted. That's why Adobe Premiere isn't taking my JPEGS. In Microsoft Paint, it doesn't let me open or save JPEG files... I did what was at the site, but when i tried to go to the folder C:\Windows\MsApps\Grphflt the Grphflt folder isn't there.... I made one with that title and put the files in it anyways. And when I go to the Local Machine thing from Regedit etc. I see no JPEG thing with quotation marks around it. I'm running Windows 2000, if that matters and am logged in with Administrator capabilities. Please help me.
