I guess it must be considered cool to butcher the English language into something that looks like the mutterings of Neanderthals. I guess I am just getting old. There is no law against it, so I guess I just have to deal with it. :D
your english is butchered compared to years ago, or compared to like in scotland. there is no "real" english, or "correct english. language changes and morphs over time. the only difference is, nowadays, computers tell us when we have spelled wrong. and even then people tend not to follow the rules. iow, your english is different from his, one is not more correct than the other. that is like saying spanish is incorrect and portuguess is correct. they changed from latin. you just think one is more right than the other because of majority over minority and because of which social groups are using which dialect. and ya, maybe some think they're cool because of how they talk, but i guess that would include you since you consider another way of speaking english inferior. idk, butchered i don't think is fair to say just like improved wouldn't be either. it is different. but what's cool that i think we could all appreciate is that i think a relatively large portion of how it is different was only due to making it more musical.
if one statement is grammatically more correct than another, the english of that sentence is also more correct. that being said, on an internet forum, the only important element is coherency and i've read incoherent posts from would-be english majors and over-the-top e-gangsters alike. for the record, i say "yall" and i'm fond of many known "incorrect" idioms and conventions commonly found in the south-eastern US here are some beats. let me know if they are enjoyed (passive) and we can talk collaboration
