I'm running TS-999 ignite Emissary Nad1r impulse loader its so scratchy and noisy Ive tracked the problem down to the ignite amp. is there any way in hell to diminish the constant grind this thing puts out. I find the reafir plugin cuts the balls off this completely and I don't want to spend the next 5 years editing guitar tracks any help thx

Why not follow-up with the suggestions offered to your post from a few days ago instead of double posting? Did you try a gate? Also, try turning down the gain in the ignite vst.

Get this one, put 2nd in chain after a noise gate, problem solved.

I know your pain... That particular ampsim is pretty powerful, did you try just turning down the gain? It doesn't need to be on 10. If you haven't, turn down the drive on the Tubescreamer sim all the way and push the volume all the way up, so it acts more like a "clean boost" and less like an overdrive. For me, personally, cutting the highs and cranking the mids helps with the buzz. Obviously, put ReaGate in front of that chain and raise the threshold until the noise stops. All the other suggestions that were given to me, too: - humbuckers or active pups instead of single coils - making sure the guitar's wiring is ok - facing the guitar where it picks up less noise - no CRT monitors, dimmers or fluorescent lights - shielding the cavities with copper foil Good luck!
