I know your pain... That particular ampsim is pretty powerful, did you try just turning down the gain? It doesn't need to be on 10. If you haven't, turn down the drive on the Tubescreamer sim all the way and push the volume all the way up, so it acts more like a "clean boost" and less like an overdrive. For me, personally, cutting the highs and cranking the mids helps with the buzz. Obviously, put ReaGate in front of that chain and raise the threshold until the noise stops. All the other suggestions that were given to me, too: - humbuckers or active pups instead of single coils - making sure the guitar's wiring is ok - facing the guitar where it picks up less noise - no CRT monitors, dimmers or fluorescent lights - shielding the cavities with copper foil Good luck!
