Replacement Cat T5

Should be fine as it will come with a warranty anyway. The main thing I would stress upon ordering the CAT (as it is to be delivered) is to ensure that it is packaged properly with the sufficient padding and handled with care during shipment. Knocks etc during transportation can damage the CAT (this happened to me!! with another trade company and I collected it within their warehouse!!).

If you get a replacement, do you fancy selling the old one to me? Cheers

I'd be wary of aftermarket cats. Volvo dealer did one on my car last year, non-genuine cat, charged me a fortune and it is as noisy as hell. Really boomy around 1800-2000rpm, which is exactly where the revs sit at 40mph, so it's a right pain around town. So much so that I am going to change it in the new year. Stu

hi, :) im far from informed but all relevent #'s are the same mate, looks like the same unit to me. dont throw your old one away, mash the guts out of it and put it back on for a transformed driving experience. (off road of corse). wayne

Ok, replacement Cat has arrived, and looks pretty well made:Banane32: However there is only one lambda sensor slot on it, and my car has two!:hissyfit: First of all, anyone know which of the v70 turbo cars had a single lambda sensor? Did the t5s change from 1 to 2 lambda sensors at any point? Did any of the early v70 turbo cars have 1 lambda sensor on the cat? Am quite confused! Short of hacking an extra lambda sensor shaped hole in the cat, looks like I'll be sending this one back...
