"Run VST in separate process" not really working ?

When I saw this new feature my heart did a jump, because I have so many different plugins where I experiment with, the chance is high that any DAW will crash after loading and unloading many plugins (and the error cant be fixed to the last opened plugin, because it may work when the same plugins where opened in another order). But after trying this feature, I think it is not really working. Although my CPU load is going only 5-10% up, even at 50% I get crackles already, in particular when opening GUIs. With a simple project with 10 plugins (half of them switched off after apply fx to track), in the middle of the song suddenly Reaper hangs, bringing a "buffer repeat" noise for 10 seconds, then all plugins don't show GUIs any more and don't output sound. I have to restart.

I am the only one?

How about numbering the plugins that show the issue?
