Save live output & wildcards ?

Does anyone know if there is a way to use wildcards so as to auto-increment a files name when using the "Save live output to disk" action? I use this action alot and having to input a different file name each time kind of slows down the creative process. I'd even be open to some sort of Autohotkey solution. If someone knows how, please upload a script. Devs, If you read this and the above is not possoble, could you please add it to the todo list? Thank you

That would be really nifty! Should be scriptable, right?

It makes me wonder why this cannot use the same wildcards as in standard render dialog (well, maybe only the subset, as there are no tracks or regions etc. in this case, of course). It would be consistent through the application. akademie
