Help! Help! Please Help!!!!

Hello everyone I need Help!!!! I have a PowerMac G4 and I use Protols Le 7.1 and Logic Pro 7.2. I updated the latest ptlecs8 driver and My problem is that when I use VST (Virtual Instruments) for Logic and Protools it comes out distorted on the 002r. However when I switch Logic Pro to the internal Audio driver I get a clean sound through the CPU. Is there something I am doing wrong, has anyone else has this problem? I use my Korg triton studio as my midi controller. Thanks in advance for your help Chris

ProTools does Not use VST plugins. Are you trying to open VST plugs in PT? Are you routing the midi into logic, and then the audio from that in to PT? I would suggest you try recording the midi in to Logic, and create audio files of the session, and import the files to PT region's and drag to a PT session, with RTAS plugs for editing... This way you only have 1 DAW software open at a time... My $.002...

Logic does not use VST plug-ins. You should install the AU versions of those plug-ins for use with Logic or RTAS versions for use with Pro Tools. Make sure you're launching the Core Audio Manager first, then launch Logic and check that the HW Buffer size is set to the same in both.

Ok I have installed the au versions but I will try launching core Audio first, I am the studio now hold tight and I appreciate your help! CFlow
