Mesa Boogie amp sim?

MessageAuthor

Hi everyone! Is there any Mesa Boogie amp sim available? I'm more interested in the Mark series, but other versions would be fine too. I searched google, but found nothing... Thanks, Fergo

Auraplug's California Sun is based on Boogie model but I don't think it's the Mark Series.

California Sun is one of the best sounding amp sims I've heard, both for driven and clean sounds. Also check out Juicy 77 for a really nice "thick and dirty" Boogie-type sound...

Peavey Revalver MKIII and Amplitube Metal both have a Mesa Boogie model. I don't think they are based on the mark though. Seems like most have a Triple Rec. I'm checking out the Auraplug stuff for myself right now though. Cameron

Line6 have one of their amp models based on a Mark series Mesa Boogie. And like 4 others based on the rectifier series.

LePou (SoloC, Hybrit, Le456) is working on a Mesa sim, which I await eagerly.

LePou is indeed working on a Recto.. and I have started working on a Mesa simulation aswell.. Hold your breath ;) The "Dirthead" ampsim by Niko are inspired by the Mark series

Guitar Rig and Amplitube 2 also have Mesa amps but they are not the Mark's, both are Rectos. Alternatively if you want a hardware ampsim of a Mark II series amp, in a guitar pedal format, have a look at the California Sansamp stompbox.
