Amp Farm Re-authorization Error

I'm running a 24 Mix Plus TDM system on Win XP. Recently bought a new computer and need to re-authorize amp farm. Since few computers come with floppy drives these days, I bought a USB floppy. But when I attempted to authorize ampfarm from c:\program files\ digidesign\deauthorizers, I get this error message: "An error happened while performing hard disk authorization installation or removal. Result code = 32" Has anyone else run into this?

Steve, USB floppy drives on PC are not supported. Can you install a local floppy drive? When you upgrade to 6.x we move your authorizations to ilok. What version of Pro Tools are running? Thanks, Digi Tech Support

I'm running 5.3.1. If I upgrade to 6.1, can my floppy authorizations be somehow transferred to ilok?
