You cant't do this until now. Extras have it's own ifo and most time other settings as the movie itself (Languages, aspect ratio, etc)
--------------------- "In 1959, we had 50 disks, each 24" in diameter, continuously spinning at a speed of 1200RPM, capable of storing 6MB of data (a staggering 12MB if your company opted for the double-capacity versions). The size of this thing? 400-sq ft space required,
Please explain this a little further to us. You mean we can't rip the extras and use them as 'extras' in the SVCD with dvd2svcd? (i understand that the svcd specs allow menus etc) Or, maybe its possible to just rip the main movie, and stick the extras at the end to make one whole movie (movie+extras in one).

You can make every extra-part (every part which has its own IFO) with DVD2SVCD. So you will get one CD per IFO. Or you can chose 'don't make images' and use e.g. TSCV to make one CD with several extras. There is until now no way to automaticly do the movie+extras to a set of SVCDs with Menu structure etc. It is possible to do this, but you have to do many steps by hand.
Thanks for the info. Maybe this could be a future feature for DVD2SVCD? :) Well, i wouldn't go as far as to make a menu etc, but it would be nice atleast to stick the extras at the end of the movie. Then you can add them as 'Chapters' and go to them directly.

Unless someone develops a DVD ripper that pulls up a menu like a DVD player does, there's no realistic way to add the "Bonus" items onto the end of the feature/movie in an automated process. The bonus items can be in so many different configurations on the original DVD that there's no way for a program to figure this out for you. In fact, most bonus items on DVD's are broken into several selectable titles.

Why is there a problem if the extras are in different formats? As i can see, the 'Title Picture' and the 'CD Change' picture are both in different format from the main movie. They are low (or high) resolution mpeg stills. Nothing to do with the movie itself. Thats why they are written in a different track on their own. This suggests that it would be possible to stick the extrats in separate tracks after the movie. Ofcourse i could be mistaken. I'm only giving a suggestion here.
I did this with Shrek. I made the extras as seperate MPEGs and after this I burned them to the last SVCD of the Movie. It can be done, but you have to calculate the correct bitrate and image the resulting streams by yourself to an ISO-Image.

ok i understand. although i still insist that this could be done by DVD2SVCD itself. It could automaticaly create subdirs for the extras to extract into, then it could do the calculations. Just a suggestion so we can avoid doing this by hand :)
