PTools Not Showing new files in track window after burning in plug-in

MessageAuthor

Hi. I started having this problem about 3 weeks ago. Running PT 7.3, Digi 002 rack, Windows XP, Pentium 2.53Ghz When I highlight an audio track in the track window and burn a plug-in into it (could be any plug-in, like an EQ, or Compression, or gain up or down etc..), it goes through the motions but then leaves the old file up on the track. It DOES create the new "altered" file in the audio folder, but I have to import it into the project and then delete the track where the pre-altered file is. (or just paste over it.) This is kind of a pain. In the past, as we know, it just over-wrote the new "altered" file over the old one. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! -Doug

Do you have "use in playlist" highlighted on the plugin?

Hi SW Rec, That was the ticket! Thanks a lot. I guess for 5 years that "button" has been automatically highlighted / on and for some reason it wasn't now. I had never even looked at it before. Thanks again! I really appreciate it.
