Can ANYONE help me with this problem ? In Adobe Premiere, no matter what I can't hear audio! Not single audio tracks, not audio tracks along with a movie, no matter what format ! When I export them I can hear them in Windows Media Player. How can i get the audio to be heard ???

At first guess, you probably don't have an audio passthrough set up. I noticed the same problem when I first loaded up Premiere after installing my Pinnacle DVD1000 card. It turns out, I did not have the audio output of the card connected to anything. The audio does not play through the computer speakers but does via the card's audio passthrough so I hear everything during editing.

I wish I had a good answer for you. In my case, the loopthrough (I was using the wrong terminology before) is set up through the Pinnacle driver's settings in Premiere. Perhaps it is always a function of the driver in use. I would imagine that it would be. Perhaps a Premiere expert can help us.

look under every option in the project properties, for the default DV projects there are options for displaying/hearing video/audio while scrubbing/previewing on the camera/desktop. hope that makes some sence ;) Enf...

At the risk of statung the obvious, have you ensured that the speaker icon is always visible on the relevant audio track? (see attached image, which shows the speaker absent, in which instance, audio would NOT be heard). Arky ;o)
