Just an update for all of you- I just finished all of the audio content for this game. In total 35 SFX and 18 music cues and most of them done within Reaper. I think only two or three were done with Sonar before switching over. Each time I use Reaper it gets more fluid and productive and I can definitely say it was one of the major factors for me finishing this large amount of content on time! I'm completely and utterly sold on this program! For anyone reading this that might still be somewhat hesitant or doubtful, don't be. You're in good hands! Hi Nate and welcome to the forums from me as well! We like to hear those stories. :) Additionally to Dragon's advice to install the SWS extensions here's another one: opposed to many other DAWs in Reaper the right mouse button is your friend. Now that you've finished your work, you may have a little more time to check out Reaper. Go to the actions menu. There you can assign all functions to keyboard bindings that you're familiar with from Sonar, hence working with Reaper has even less impact on your workflow. -Data
I laughed when I read that comment about Sonar now feeling alien - I fired up Sonar 6 the other day to pull a mix out of it - sheesh I was absolutely hopeless!! And thats after being a 24/7 Sonar user for years in those dark pre Reaper days Cheers Jed
