Sorry I mispoke, I meant it the other way around, in that you wouldn't be able to monitor out of the rosetta. I actually misread it and got confused. Sorry fo rthe confusion. Either way, I would still recommend getting a seperate d/a converter like the benchmark unit.

Hi, I have 1031a and I'm a very happy camper indeed. Also got the rosetta, it has had the biggest impact on my recordings compared to anything else I've got. Just my two cents worth.

Before you buy the Genelecs, do yourself a favor and check out the Dynaudio BM15's. IMHO they are about 10's the sound! I **** you not (though, i really dislike genelecs personally). There is a reason Dynaudios are a favorite of mastering studios. Very accurate. I also agree about using the psx-100 over the Rosetta.

For six grand, go: Great River mic pres Crane Song HEDD 192 Digi 001 Monitors to taste Crane will work A/D, D/A plus some cool D/D tape/tube saturation effects so you don't need the Masterlink.
