I got an idea for the OSX posts. Lets just create one that says..

Cool, well, if it'll keep our gurus around for a little longer...but I don't get it - when is OSX gonna be supported? (lol Chompers)

I agree but it'll probably be useless even if it's at the top.

STOP!!!!!!!!!!! I can't take this anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Given that windows users are far more behind than us Mac users, where PT began, I seriously doubt we will see anything for OSX before they get an upgrade. I'm sure by now Digi knows jsut how much we all want OSX compatibility. There, I said my peace.

Perhaps we could also do this for: -"Best PT&DAE memory settings:Look here!!" This one is really anoying, we almost get one once a week (including this very week), and it's in the damn manual ! Of course, from then, we'll also have to post a: -"Mastering in PT: check this !!" message, and what about some: -"How to make timeline follow insertion point? The answer is here!" message. Obviously this would take more than a board to do so...We could call it answerbase or FAQ... Huumm...the bad news is that it already exists... maybe a "Basics in PT"(or any name) section could lighten this section a little. Wish it could.

I wonder why so many people wish to use OSX. I've almost never had a crash when using PTLE. OS9 seems just enough. (DP3 often crashs, though.)

I agree that os9 does me fine but I still feel that we should have an osx version as os9 was officially laid to rest. As much as I dont like osx I guess we have no choice. At least we got Reason for OSX and dont have to worry about that. Thats about all I need, Pro Tools, Reason, and Jam to get started. By the way.. the release date is June 19th 2003. Just kidding.
