new bombfactory LA-3A anyone? 

awaitng the v3 demo cd and was just curious if anyone else has tried out the LA-3A .How does it differ from the 2A for example..

FWIW: This may not be new news but it was to me: a very reputable pro-audio dealer/friend told me that Universal Audio would be releasing their versions of these classic compressors and they are going to smoke the BF stuff... and that they were due in December or January. Anyone know any additional info? I was going to buy all the BF stuff (LA2A, 1176, LA3, etc) but with BF's reputation - and the fact that the real Universal was coming out with the true plugs for these I thought I would wait...
