DV Toolkit 2 question.

I recently purchased DV Toolkit 2 and activated it through digi website and the licenses were deposited to my iLok account for download but the listing in the deposited license section of my ilok account reads "Pro Tools LE DV Toolkit" and not "Pro Tools DV Toolkit 2 "....Is this correct or was there some type of error during activation? Those of you that have a DV Toolkit 2 license....does your account say "2" after Toolkit or is it the same as mine? Mine only says "Pro Tools LE DV Toolkit". Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, if you have installed DV Toolkit 2 just try and initiate 48 tracks. If you can no worries, you have DV Toolkit 2 (and the licence). DV Toolkit 2 will only work with Pro Tools LE 7.1 and above, so that's another factor. I don't have my iLok(s) with me right now, but I'm sure the process has gone through OK. Double check the bundle driver in your Digidesign folder in Applications (if you're on Mac - Program Files in Windows).

Yes I purchased DV Toolkit 2 and I activated and downloaded the license to my ilok but when i attempt to open PT LE 7.3 after installing DV Toolkit 2 .exe file, and inserting the ilok, PT gives me a splash screen that says the required license is not on the ilok. I have made sure i did everything correct when activating and downloading the license. It just seems to me the authorization code may have been for DV Toolkit 1(digi deposited DV Toolkit 1 to my account instead of version 2) and it should have been for DV Toolkit 2 since it was in the box for DV Toolkit 2.

All that i need to know is....if those of you that have a DV Toolkit 2 license have "Pro Tools LE DV Toolkit" or "Pro Tools LE DV Toolkit 2 " in your iLok account listing. If it says "Pro Tools LE DV Toolkit 2 " then I have been sold a license that is for DV Toolkit 1 in the DV Toolkit 2 box.

It may just not let me open PT with DV Toolkit 2 because i need the latest PACE driver or something for my iLok. I'll check and see if that works...but as of now PT sees my iLok but says the required license is not on it.... my iLok account says that it is. So maybe i'll try to install the most current PACE driver and see if anything changes.

I have both on my iLok account. The license for DV Toolkit 2 should be shown as DVToolkit 2 on iLok.com. From your statements above, you do indeed only have a license for the original version. Was this a boxed item?? Then take it back to the store.

Yes, same here. It shows as DV Toolkit 2. I bought mine in a DV Toolkit 2 box, so I wouldn't think there'd be any mistakes in depositing the license to ilok account. Perhaps if you bought yours online as a download (which i'm not sure is even an option, but maybe), you clicked on the original toolkit by accident, not the one that you actually need. Just an idea...

I purchased what was listed as an unopened and unregistered DV Toolkit 2 in the original box on E-bay for $875.00 and I just put in the activation code that was in the box and the license were automatically deposited into my iLok account. The box was still sealed when i had recieved it. I'm not sure if i was ripped off or if this incorrect activation code was a mistake.

So I checked my DV Toolkit 2 activation card that came in the box and it says "DV Toolkit 2" but when i entered the code digi deposited "PT LE DV Toolkit" into my ilok account. It does not read Toolkit 2 in my ilok license list....it says "PT LE DV Toolkit" This has to be an error on digi's part. The activation code itself has DVT2 in the begining of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The card does say that the toolkit needs to have a prior installation of PT 7.0 in order to install. I went from 6.9.2 to 7.3....would this make a difference??
