Mute disables in play mode

Hey gang, Here is a weird one that I have never come across in my years of using PT. Maybe I am missing something. On a certain track in my project, I click the Mute button to mute the track. When I hit play, the mute shuts off and plays the material on the track. I have checked the volume settings and all of this. What could this be? Thanks in advance for any help. nz

You have an automation move -- in the edit view, for that track display mute automation, or simply turn automation off for that track. Rail ------------------ Recording Engineer
